"Those who fight Parkinson's with knowledge always find solutions."— Dr. Rana
Canadian Non-Profit Organization
Who We Are
The Dr. Rana Parkinson's Foundation is a Canadian non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for People with Parkinson's and their caregivers by providing up-to-date education and practical strategies to manage the complexities of this condition.
Dr. A.Q. Rana, a senior Canadian neurologist, recognized that one of the greatest unmet needs in Parkinson's care was the absence of reliable, and accessible information. Too many patients turn to unauthentic sources, often worsening their condition as a result.
Driven by this gap, he founded an organization in 2005 that has since grown into a globally trusted resource, run by passionate volunteers who dedicate their time to the cause.
"One of the most unmet needs in Parkinson's care is the lack of proper, authentic information for patients and their families."
